Midweek gas price jump

Regular gas at the Kroger at Crosstown was $3.45 this morning. Now, it’s $3.53. Yowza!

BTW, what did everyone think of the new updated gas chart that ran in Sunday’s Business & Money section?

What is going on with gas prices? When will it stop?

Maggiann it will stop when us stupid humans get rid of our gas guzzling suv’s and vans and get economical cars and further get our cars running on anything other than oil…as long as the freakin Arabs hold all the marbles, we’ll never escape the threat of higher prices.

What did I think about the new chart? What I think is what took you so long to redesign the chart that I originally designed MORE THAN 10 YEARS AGO. It looked good, and it was about time. Y’all are doing a great job. Keep it up.

Glad you liked the chart. Got only a handful of complaints from those missing the old chart. But some of the players on the list were changing the rules and not wanting to participate, making the job harder to get it.

So we ditched it, at least for now.

Besides, I don’t think too many banks want to show off their CD and savings rates at this point.
