Does anyone know the projected opening ?
They’re shooting for sometime in June - that was the last word I got a couple of weeks ago from the developer of the property, although I haven’t spoken to any Old Venice folks to confirm that.
i dont like the little awnings….they look silly, hope pizza is better.
Somebody please alert the Old Venice folks to change to shutters so BWM will be happy.
I hope they can do well. The Chicken Ranchero pizza is great. Just ask them to go light on the garlic.
thanks jbird….bizz said he liked, i dont…..but maybe all the lil midgets that live upstairs needed them to provide some shade from their lil windows….trust me, im going to go eat there, im just going to request to not be seating by those lil windows and awnings.
For the record, that was the Carlie half of bizbuzz that said she liked the awnings. I didn’t notice them until it was pointed out.
Me, I’m just waiting to try the place, awnings or not.
Hehe. You thought Dennis used phrases like “little awnings” and “very cute.” Yes, it was me (Carlie) who made the comment about the awnings. I don’t want to insult Dennis’ manhood.
Honestly, I’m excited about a new restaurant in town, but I was never a huge fan of Old Venice when I was a student at Ole Miss. Maybe it was because I went with the pasta instead of pizza and wasn’t impressed (full disclosure: I’m a pasta snob). I plan to check out the pizza menu in Tupelo.
