Stanford Financial Group CEO Robert Allen Stanford, a Texas billionaire who has a home in the Virgin Islands, Chief Financial Officer James Davis and Chief Investment Officer Laura Pendergest-Holt, both of Baldwyn, were charged Tuesday by the Securities and Exchange Commission of bilking investors out of about $8 billion in high-yield certificates of deposit. If Davis and Pendergest-Holt are guilty, and it appears they certainly are, they should be treated like and other common criminal.
She may be smokin’ hot, but if she broke the law, I hope she loses everything including that big ol’ house in Baldwyn.
